Where to beginThe Shape of Nearness는 20곡으로 구성된 판타지 아트 팝 앨범으로, 각 곡은 서로 다른 엘프 계열과 그 계열 고유의 친밀함에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 만들어졌습니다. 사막의 길과 달빛 어린 항구, 숨겨진 통로와 수정의 방, 폭풍과 의식, 꿈과 현실에 없는 공간을 오가며, 앨범은 그리움과 신뢰, 욕망과 자유, 그리고 두 사람을 더 가까이 이끄는 선택을 탐색합니다.
판타지를 단순한 장식으로 다루는 대신, 각 계열은 저마다의 감정을 표현하는 언어가 됩니다. 거리는 길 찾기가 되고, 비밀은 취약함을 드러내는 일이 되며, 의식은 서로의 동의가 되고, 마법은 일상의 말로는 전할 수 없는 것을 표현하는 방식이 됩니다. 실내악 현악기와 유리 같은 음색, 하프와 치터, 저음 리드 악기, 섬세한 타악기, 멀리서 들려오는 가사 없는 보컬 하모니가 쉼 없이 나아가는 흐름과 거의 고요한 순간 사이를 오갑니다. 각 곡은 저마다의 형태를 지니면서도 앨범 전체를 하나의 세계로 이어 줍니다.
